Design and machining

I developed the plane from initial sketches into an Onshape assembly, then produced technical drawings for the machine shop. I used those drawings to machine the aluminum and brass components with a manual mill, lathe, and drill press.

I designed and 3D printed a custom drawer to fit the corner of my desk, adding storage for pens and small items.
